Alpine regularly hires for the following positions: Forest planning, wildlife habitat conservation planning, forest biometrics, water resource and watershed management, visual impact analysis, mapping and GIS applications, logging, geology, and operations planning.  Entry level positions include wildlife surveying, unit layout, stream analysis and archaeology surveying.

 

All candidates for employment must have a 4-year college degree in forest management or a related discipline. You must be proficient with basic computer applications, be in good physical condition, and understand the basic tenets of industrial forestry.  Other qualities would include a genuine interest in forestry analytics, and a love for the great outdoors.  To find out more about forestry in California click the "Resources" link at the top of the page.
